Nachdem Gustav sich süßen Träumen hingegeben hat, was wohl in den zahlreichen Koffrern ist, muss er den Verwandten ausführen. Eine Runde durch die teuersten Lokale und ein Varieté amüsieren den Gast prächtig und Gustav sieht sein Geld dahin schmelzen. Zu allem Übel stellt sich heraus, dass der Verwandte genauso "reich" ist wie Gustav nach der Lokalrunde. Als der Gast endlich abreist, macht sich Gustav, völlig Pleite, die gute Idee, auf Kosten der Verwandten zu leben, selber zu Nutze.
English SummaryGustav receives a relative from abroad, whom he considers to be very rich. After Gustav has indulged in sweet dreams, which is probably in the numerous suitcases, he has to take the relatives out. A round through the most expensive restaurants and a variety show amuse the guest splendidly and Gustav sees his money melt away. To make matters worse, it turns out that the relative is just as "rich" as Gustav was after the local round. When the guest finally leaves, Gustav, completely bankrupt, takes advantage of the good idea of living at the expense of his relatives.
