German SummaryUm bei der Schrottsammelaktion besonders gut abzuschneiden haben sich Hannes und Pitt etwas ausgedacht. Sie wollen ein Zirkusprogramm vorführen und als Eintrittsgeld von jedem Besucher Schrott verlangen. Die erste Panne gibt es bereits bei den Vorbereitungen, weil ein schlecht gezielter Ballschuss das als Zirkuskapelle fungierende Grammophon trifft. Mulle, der Schütze, darf am Spiel nicht mehr teilnehmen. Hannes und Pitt sind noch beim Proben der Hauptattraktion, als schon die Zuschauer erscheinen. Die beiden Hauptdarsteller können sich nicht darüber einigen, wer Kopf und wer Hinterteil des tanzenden Zebras Eulalia spielen soll. Die Vorstellung beginnt, doch die Hauptnummer muß immer wieder verschoben werden. Als durch den Streit das Zirkusspiel fast zu scheitern droht, geht Mulle mit seiner Musiknummer in die Arena. Die Vorstellung ist gerettet. Zum Schluss tanzt das Zebra doch und Pitt und Hannes verbeugen sich gemeinsam mit Mulle.

English SummaryHannes and Pitt have come up with something to do especially well in the scrap collection campaign. They want to perform a circus program and demand scrap metal from every visitor as an entrance fee. The first mishap already occurs during the preparations, because a badly aimed ball shot hits the gramophone, which acts as a circus band. Mulle, the shooter, is no longer allowed to participate in the game. Hannes and Pitt are still rehearsing the main attraction when the spectators arrive. The two main actors can't agree on who should play head and tail of the dancing zebra Eulalia. The performance begins, but the main number has to be shifted again and again. When the circus game almost threatens to fail due to the quarrel, Mulle goes into the arena with his music number. The performance is saved. In the end the zebra dances and Pitt and Hannes bow down together with Mulle.
