German SummaryEin Großwildjäger erschrickt auf einer Safari derart vor einem Krokodil, daß er sich nur durch eilige Flucht retten kann. Sein zurückgelassenes Gewehr fällt einem Affen in die Hände, der den Jäger spielt. Alle Tiere, selbst der Löwe, ordnen sich ihm unter, nur ein kleiner Affe lässt sich nicht einschüchtern. Aus Angst vor dem Bewaffneten ducken sich alle Artgenossen, und halten den kleinen Affen mit Gewalt vom Widerstand ab. Schließlich ist aber das Maß voll, der Besitzer des Gewehrs wird gemeinsam verjagt, und endet im Rachen des Krokodils. Die herrenlose Waffe findet großes Interesse in der Affenhorde, aber da keine Patronen mehr vorhanden sind, ist sie für alle wertlos geworden.

English SummaryA big game hunter is so frightened by a crocodile on a safari that he can only save himself by fleeing hastily. His left behind rifle falls into the hands of a monkey playing the hunter. All animals, even the lion, subordinate themselves to it, only a small monkey cannot be intimidated. Out of fear of the armed, all conspecifics duck, and keep the little monkey by force from the resistance. But finally the measure is full, the owner of the rifle is chased away together, and ends in the throat of the crocodile. The masterless weapon is of great interest in the monkey horde, but since there are no cartridges left, it has become worthless for all.
