German SummaryLjusska, die Sparkassenangestellte aus dem fernen sibirischen Radiosawodsk, und Wolodja, der Bauarbeiter aus dem noch fernen sibirischen Angarsk, begegnen sich in Moskau. Weil jeder dem anderen ein bißchen imponieren will, spielen sie beide den alten Moskauer. In Wahrheit aber verbringt Wolodja nur seinen Urlaub in der Hauptstadt, während Ljusska ihren Lotteriegewinn in einen Sonntagsausflug mit der TU 104 verwandelt hat. Gemeinsam schlendern sie durch die große Stadt, und zu ihrer Verblüffung sieht sich das sibirische Mädchen schließlich als Braut im weißen Kleid und kurzen Schleier. Die beiden haben freundliche und auch denkwürdige Begegnungen - Ljusska trifft im Kreml mit Valentina Tereschkowa zusammen-, und mit Glück und List halten sie ihre Komödie vor den alten Moskauern bis zum Ende durch, aber beinahe hätte der kleine Schwindel sie um ein Wiedersehen gebracht. Zwar fällt ihr für den nächsten Sonntag verabredetes Rendezvous sowieso ins Wasser, weil Wolodja inzwischen nach Angarsk zurückkehren mußte, aber Ljusska erfährt auf Umwegen die Wahrheit - und Wolodjas richtige Adresse.

English SummaryLjusska, the savings bank employee from far Siberian Radiosavodsk, and Volodja, the building worker from still far Siberian Angarsk, meet in Moscow. Because everyone wants to impress the other a little bit, they both play the old Muscovite. In reality, however, Volodya only spends his holidays in the capital, while Ljusska has turned her lottery win into a Sunday trip with TU 104. Together they stroll through the big city, and to their amazement the Siberian girl finally sees herself as a bride in a white dress and a short veil. The two have friendly and memorable encounters - Ljusska meets Valentina Tereschkowa in the Kremlin - and with luck and cunning they hold out their comedy to the end in front of the old Muscovites, but the little swindle almost deprived them of a reunion. Although her rendezvous arranged for next Sunday falls into the water anyway, because Volodya had to return to Angarsk in the meantime, Ljusska learns the truth in a detour - and Volodja's correct address.
