English SummaryThe two boys Witja and Kostja are inseparable friends. After school they romp around outside instead of doing their homework first. Witja's father, an engineer, also solves the arithmetic problems so quickly, and Kostja only has to copy. One day Kostja skipped school to avoid a dreaded dictation. There Witja notices how wrong his friendship service was and both become ordinary pupils through the help of their class.
