German SummaryEine kleine Maus, die das schlechte Leben im Winter satt hat, wünscht sich, ein Kätzchen zu sein. Die Zauberlaterne erfüllt ihr den Wunsch. Kaum ist sie eine Katze, wird sie vom Hund gejagt und schließlich vom stärksten Kater der Gegend geschnappt. Der wittert zwar ständig die Maus, kommt aber nicht hinter ihr Geheimnis. Erst als die Freunde der Maus-Katze sie retten wollen, steigert sich die Situation ins Beängstigende. Jedoch die Aktion gelingt, und die kleinen Tiere wissen fortan, wo es etwas zu holen gibt, denn der Lebensmittelvorrat des Katers ist beachtlich.

English SummaryA little mouse that's fed up with bad life in winter wants to be a kitten. The magic lantern fulfills her wish. As soon as she is a cat, she is hunted by the dog and finally caught by the strongest cat in the area. He smells the mouse all the time, but doesn't get behind its secret. Only when the friends of the mouse cat want to save her, the situation increases into the frightening.
