  • German SummaryDieser Farb-Dokumentarfilm berichtet über die X. und letzte Kunstausstellung in der DDR vor der Wende, welche vom 3. Oktober 1987 bis zum 3. April 1988 stattfand. Die Veranstalter waren das Ministerium für Kultur und der VBK der DDR. Neben den klassischen Ausstellungssparten Malerei, Grafik sowie Plastik werden in diesem Film auch neuste Werke und Entwicklungen aus Mode, Formgestaltung, Gebrauchsgrafik, Fotografie und dem Kunsthandwerk gezeigt.   • English SummaryThis color documentary film reports about the X. and last art exhibition in the GDR before the fall of communism, which took place from October 3, 1987 to April 3, 1988. The organizers were the Ministry of Culture and the VBK of the GDR. In addition to the classic exhibition categories of painting, graphic art and sculpture, this film also shows the latest works and developments in fashion, design, commercial graphics, photography and handicrafts. The camera captures impressive works, some of which reflect the diversity of art and artists with good detail shots and objective commentary. A committee in Halle/Saale will be cut to understand the selection criteria for submitting works for the X. Art Exhibition. Positive and negative statements by visitors in the exhibition rooms, captured faces and gestures, but also the background music enrich this documentary film.
