Die erfahrenen Westerner Hobble Frank und Tante Droll haben dem alten Indianerhäuptling "Weiser Bär" versprochen, den Plan seines wohlbehüteten Heiligtums im Silbersee seinen Erben, dem Großen und dem Kleinen Bären, zu übergeben. Der Banditenchef Brinkley stiehlt diesen Plan und will mit seiner Bande den Schatz rauben. Winnetou und Old Shatterhand beteiligen sich an der Verfolgung der Gangster und sorgen für ihre Gefangennahme. Die Räuber werden in die Hände des Militärs übergeben, ihnen gelingt aber die Flucht und der Diebstahl einiger Pferde. Der Klugheit der Bärenindianer und der Pfiffigkeit der Westerner sind die Banditen allerdings nicht gewachsen. Sie werden unschädlich gemacht. Winnetou und Old Shatterhand haben wie immer der Gerechtigkeit zum Sieg verholfen.

English SummaryA saloon pianist sits at the piano and calls his fans together. He tells what happened in the previous part. The experienced Westerner Hobble Frank and Aunt Droll have promised the old Indian chief "Weiser Bär" to hand over the plan of his well-kept sanctuary in Silbersee to his heirs, the Great and the Little Bear. The bandit boss Brinkley steals this plan and wants to rob the treasure with his gang. Winnetou and Old Shatterhand take part in the pursuit of the gangsters and take care of their capture. The robbers are handed over into the hands of the military, but they manage to escape and steal some horses. However, the bandits are not up to the wisdom of the bear Indians and the cleverness of the Westerner. They'll be rendered harmless. As always, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand helped justice to victory.
