German SummaryAn einem herrlichen Herbsttag fällt dem Hühnchen eine Nuß auf den Kopf und es denkt, die Welt stürze ein. Seine Panik reißt drei weitere Tiere mit, Hähnchen, Schaf und Nilpferd. Sie laufen vor Schreck um die ganze Welt und geraten in den Winter, den sie nur durch einen gemeinsamen Hausbau überleben. Es wird Frühling und dem Hühnchen fällt wieder eine Nuß auf den Kopf. Der Hahn untersucht sie und stellt fest, daß es eine Nuß ist, die man essen kann.

English SummaryOn a wonderful autumn day, a nut falls on the chicken's head and it thinks the world is collapsing. His panic sweeps away three more animals, chicken, sheep and hippo. They run with fright around the whole world and get into the winter, which they survive only by a common house construction. Spring is coming and the chicken has another nut falling on her head. The cock examines it and finds that it is a nut that can be eaten.
