  • German SummaryDie französische Modistin Yvette hat in Düsseldorf einen kleinen Modesalon. Die jungen Herren der Gesellschaft liegen ihr zu Füßen, aber in ihre Kreise wird sie nicht aufgenommen. Darum gelingt es auch ihrem verflossenen Liebhaber Maurice Daurignac, sie zu einem großen Coup zu überreden, mit dem sie sich an der "feinen Gesellschaft" rächen kann. Sie gibt sich als Erbin von zehn Millionen Goldfranc aus. Aus Paris kommt ein Notar in Begleitung von zwei vermeintlichen Polizisten und liefert das angebliche Geld in einem versiegelten Päckchen dem Düsseldorfer Bankhaus Bleichstetter aus, wo es bis zum Ende des Erbschaftsprozesses ruht. Der zieht sich hin, und unterdessen leben die beiden auf großem Fuß.   • English SummaryThe French modiste Yvette has a small fashion salon in Düsseldorf. The young masters of society lie at her feet, but she is not accepted into her circles. From Paris, a notary comes accompanied by two alleged policemen and delivers the alleged money in a sealed package to the Düsseldorf bank Bleichstetter, where it rests until the end of the inheritance process.
