Der dritte Film "Letzte Hoffnung" erzählt von der Prüfung, durch die alle hindurch müssen: die Jungen, weil damit die weitere Entscheidung über ihren Lebensplan fällt, die Erwachsenen, weil sich zwischen den Erklärungen der Betriebe und Behörden auf Hilfe und ihrer Einlösung eine große Schere auftut. Am Ende bleibt die Bilanz eines sozialpädagogischen Experiments.

English SummaryThe three-part film "Die Maßnahme" tells the story of a residential ship that lies on the Havel. Seven young people live, live and work here with an educator in a very small space. They come from difficult backgrounds, have dropped out of school and apprenticeships and deficits in social behaviour. On the ship they can obtain the vocational school leaving certificate for the occupation of hydraulic engineer.
The third film "Last Hope" tells the story of the test through which everyone has to pass: the boys, because this is the basis for further decisions on their life plans, the adults, because there is a huge gap between the declarations of the companies and authorities on help and its redemption. In the end, there remains the balance of a socio-educational experiment.
