English SummaryThe ship's heater Heini Holler is checking out Greece for health reasons and reports to the consulate of fascist Germany. The consul sends him back to Hamburg. He had previously reported him to the Gestapo there as politically suspicious. Holler is arrested as soon as he arrives. His comrades kidnap the consul and demand an exchange against Heini, which is to take place in Marseille. The Gestapo, to put it bluntly, takes it upon itself to secure the support of the French police in order to get hold of the kidnapper. But the solidarity of the seamen in Marseille is stronger, Heini will be able to cure his lung disease in the Soviet Union.
