German SummaryEin junger Trommler belauscht am Teich ein Entlein, das dort für die böse Hexe vom Glasberg seltene Kräuter suchen muß. Die Ente erzählt ihm, daß sie von der Hexe gequält wird, wenn sie ohne Kräuter zurückkommt. Der Trommler macht sich auf den Weg zum Glasberg, um das Entlein zu erlösen. Weil er mutig und furchtlos ist, kann er den Berg erklimmen und auch die drei unlösbar erscheinenden Aufgaben meistern, die ihm die Hexe stellt. Damit wird aus dem verzauberten Entlein wieder ein schönes Mädchen, das mit dem Trommler davonzieht.

English SummaryA young drummer overhears a duckling at the pond, who has to search for rare herbs for the evil witch from Glasberg. The duck tells him that she is tormented by the witch when she comes back without herbs. The drummer makes his way to the Glasberg to release the duckling. Because he is courageous and fearless, he can climb the mountain and master the three seemingly unsolvable tasks the witch poses him. This turns the enchanted duckling into a beautiful girl again, who runs away with the drummer.
