  • German SummaryZwei Zimmerleute, Fuchs und Schwabe heißen sie, finden im Wald eine Flasche mit einem kleinen unheimlichen Wesen darin. Als der Fuchs die Flasche öffnet, kommt ein großer Teufel hervor, der seinen Befreier sofort statt seiner in die Flasche sperren will, Fuchs aber weiß sich zu helfen, der Teufel wird gefangen, und die Flasche wird einfach vergraben. Schwabe aber wittert ein Geschäft mit dem Flaschenteufel. Gegen das Versprechen, ihn reich zu machen, läßt er den Unhold frei. Fortan wollen die Teufel in der Stadt der Zimmerleute kein Ende mehr nehmen.   • English SummaryTwo carpenters, Fuchs and Schwabe, find a bottle in the forest with a small eerie creature in it. When the fox opens the bottle, a great devil comes out, who wants to lock his liberator in the bottle instead of his, but the fox knows how to help himself, the devil is caught, and the bottle is simply buried. But Schwabe smells a business with the bottle devil. Against the promise to make him rich, he releases the fiend. From now on, the devils in the city of carpenters will never cease.
