German SummaryEine Prinzessin klagt um ihren Schatz. Die Ritter Dick und Schick stürzen davon, um ihn zu holen. Ein kleiner Vogel schließt sich ihnen an. Sie nehmen ihn mit und verteidigen ihn notgedrungen, da sie ritterlich sind. Über verschiedene Stationen des Erfragens - beim Zauberer, den Nixen, den Zwergen und der Hexe - verlieren sie als Gegenleistung alle ihre Habe, kämpfen mit Riesen und kommen schließlich ohne den Schatz zurück. Die Prinzessin begrüßt sie überglücklich, denn der Schatz ist der kleine Vogel, den die beiden Recken auf ihrer abenteuerlichen Suche beschützt haben. Als Dank erhalten beide einen Orden.

English SummaryA princess is suing for her treasure. The Knights Dick and Schick fall off to get him. A little bird joins them. They take him with them and defend him because they are chivalrous. Through various stations of inquiry - with the Wizard, the Mermaids, the Dwarves and the Witch - they lose all their belongings in return, fight with giants and finally return without the treasure. The princess greets her overjoyed, for the treasure is the little bird that the two warriors have protected on their adventurous quest. In return, they both receive a medal.
