Juniwoche kamen Gäste aus allen 5 Kontinenten in Berlin an um am Welttreffen für den Frieden teilzunehmen. Die Gäste waren Politiker, Gewerkschaftler, Vertreter der Kirchen, Künstler und andere. Das Treffen fand im 20. Jahr der DDR in Berlin statt. Die Gäste werden am Flughafen begrüßt.
Am 21. Juni begannen die 1100 Teilnehmer die Beratungen. Zahlreiche Redner wiesen auf die Bedeutung der DDR als Friedensstaat hin.
Der indische Politiker Krishna Menon äußert sich in einem Interview darüber, dass die DDR in die Vereinten der Nationen aufgenommen werden soll.
Der stellvertretende Sprecher des indischen Unterhauses eröffnete das Welttreffen. Die internationalen Teilnehmer der Konferenz werden gezeigt.
Albert Norden verliest eine Grußbotschaft von Walter Ulbricht. In der Rede wurde die Abrüstung und Vernichtung von Atomwaffen betont. Die Anwesenden klatschen Beifall. Am Rednerpult werden verschiedene Sprecher gezeigt. Die diskutierten Hauptfragen waren die Unterstützung des vietnamesischen Volkes, die Rückgabe der Länder Israels und die weltweite Anerkennung der DDR. Viele Massenaktionen wurden koordiniert.
Die Außenministerin der provisorischen revolutionären Regierung der Republik Südvietnam spricht am Brandenburger Tor in einem Interview über die Freude, dass die DDR ihre Regierung anerkannt haben.
Am Ehrenmal in Berlin Treptow ehrten Delegierte des Welttreffens am 28. Jahrestag des Überfalls auf die Sowjetunion die Soldaten der Roten Armee. Kränze wurden niedergelegt. Details des Ehrenmals werden gezeigt.
Der Staatsrat gab einen Empfang für die Teilnehmer des Weltfriedenstreffens. Willi Stoph spricht mit einigen Anwesenden. Die Teilnehmer tauschen sich aus. Der Saal des Empfangs wird von oben gefilmt.
Zum Abschluss des Treffens sprach der Generalsekretär des Weltfriedensrates Romesh Chandra. Weitere Redner werden gezeigt. Am Ende stehen alle Teilnehmer auf und klatschen Beifall.

During the 3rd week of June, guests from all 5 continents arrived in Berlin to participate in the World Meeting for Peace. The guests were politicians, trade unionists, representatives of the churches, artists and others. The meeting took place in the 20th year of the GDR in Berlin. Guests are welcomed at the airport.
On 21 June, the 1100 participants started the consultations. Numerous speakers pointed out the importance of the GDR as a peace state.

Albert Norden reads a greeting message from Walter Ulbricht. The speech emphasized the disarmament and destruction of nuclear weapons. The audience applaud. Various speakers are shown at the lectern. The main questions discussed were the support of the Vietnamese people, the return of the lands of Israel and the worldwide recognition of the GDR. Many mass actions were coordinated.
The Foreign Minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam speaks in an interview at the Brandenburg Gate about the joy that the GDR has recognized its government.
At the memorial in Berlin Treptow delegates of the World Meeting on the 28th anniversary of the invasion of the Soviet Union honoured the soldiers of the Red Army. Wreaths were laid. Details of the memorial are shown.
The State Council held a reception for the participants of the World Peace Meeting. Willi Stoph is talking to some of those present. The participants exchange information. The reception room is filmed from above.
At the end of the meeting, the Secretary General of the World Peace Council, Romesh Chandra, spoke. Further speakers will be shown. At the end all participants stand up and applaud.
