German SummaryDer Lebenshändler Sardellen-Sieber weist zwar volle Schaufenster in Westberlin aus, steht aber wegen leerer Ladenkasse kurz vor dem Bankrott. So versucht er seinen gebrauchten PKW an einen Interessenten mittels Annonce zu verkaufen. Ein Autohändler, der ein 'Schnäppchen' wittert, und er einigen sich auf 400 DM. Nach Vertragsabschluß erscheint der Gerichtsvollzieher und pfändet den Wagen aufgrund der Schuldenlage von Sardellen-Sieber. Beide neuen 'Besitzer' beginnen sich über ihre Rechte zu streiten. Als sie dabei vor die Tür treten, müssen sie feststellen, dass das Auto inzwischen gestohlen wurde.
English SummaryAlthough the life trader Anchovy-Sieber has full shop windows in West Berlin, he is on the verge of bankruptcy due to an empty till. So he tries to sell his used car to an interested party by means of an advertisement. A car dealer who smells a 'bargain' and he agrees on 400 DM. After conclusion of the contract the bailiff appears and seizes the car due to the debt situation of anchovy thieves. Both new 'owners' start arguing about their rights. As they step outside the door, they discover that the car has been stolen.
