  • German SummaryEin Herr, der sich für einen großen Jäger hält, hat vor zehn Jahren ein unvergessliches Jagderlebnis gehabt und möchte das Jubiläum mit einem Festessen begehen. Leider hat die Dienerschaft nicht an das denkwürdige Ereignis gedacht. Ein Untergebener erinnert den Herr daran, daß der Jagderfolg ohne das Eingreifen des Hundes nicht zustande gekommen wäre. Da zu allem Überfluß nicht einmal Wild serviert wird, wirft der ergrimmte Herr den Teller mit der Suppe zum Fenster hinaus. Der Diener befördert alle anderen Speisen ebenfalls im hohen Bogen auf den Hof, weil er angeblich der Meinung ist, das Mahl fände heute im Freien statt. Da der Herr nicht hungrig bleiben will, müssen die Bediensteten ihr eigenes Mittagessen servieren, aber das schlichte Essen erregt seinen Unwillen noch mehr.   • English SummaryA gentleman who thinks he is a great hunter had an unforgettable hunting experience ten years ago and would like to celebrate the anniversary with a feast. Unfortunately, the servants did not think of the memorable event. A subordinate reminds the gentleman that the hunting success would not have come about without the intervention of the dog. Since not even game is served in abundance, the angry gentleman throws the plate with the soup out of the window. The servant also transports all other food to the courtyard in a high arch, because he is supposed to think that the meal takes place outside today. Since the Lord does not want to remain hungry, the servants must serve their own lunch, but the simple food arouses his displeasure even more.
