German SummaryPhilipp ist zu klein für sein Alter und erntet häufig den Spott seiner Kameraden, wenn er beispielsweise in der Schule kaum an die Tafel reicht. Er träumt davon, große Taten zu vollbringen, um die Achtung der anderen zu gewinnen. Als er seine Flöte verliert, bekommt er von einem Mann eine neue geschenkt - eine Wunderflöte. Mit einer Melodie kann er Gegenstände und Lebewesen größer oder kleiner werden lassen, nur sich selbst nicht. Im Städtchen stiftet er einige Verwirrung an, als er die Katze zum Raubtier macht und die Schulglocke ganz klein. Aber auch die gutgemeinten Taten bringen ihm keinen Erfolg. Den erntet er eines Tages mit seiner Musik. Das ausgiebige Spielen auf seiner Flöte hat ihn zu einem kleinen Meister gemacht. English SummaryPhilip is too small for his age and often reaps the ridicule of his comrades when, for example, he barely reaches for the blackboard at school. He dreams of accomplishing great deeds to win the respect of others. When he loses his flute, a man gives him a new one - a miracle flute. With a melody he can make objects and creatures bigger or smaller, but not himself. In the small town he instigates some confusion when he turns the cat into a predator and the school bell into a very small one. But even the well-intentioned deeds do not bring him success. He'll reap it one day with his music. The extensive playing on his flute has made him a little master. Enchanted the people on the market place stop and listen to his music.
