German SummaryAuf einer sonnigen Waldlichtung vergnügen sich die Tiere und Vögel. Im benachbarten Dickicht ist ein Wolf auf der Jagd. Er spürt ein Reh auf, welches auf die Lichtung flüchtet. Dort wird es von einem Bären in Schutz genommen. Der Räuber muss ohne Beute abziehen. Specht, Eichelhäher und Eichhörnchen halten jetzt ständig Ausschau. Als der Wolf sich wieder in der Nähe der Lichtung zeigt, werden die Tiere durch den Specht herbeigetrommelt und erwarten gemeinsam den Angriff. Ein überraschendes Eingreifen des Bären beendet das Leben des Wolfes. Die Tiere bedanken sich bei ihrem Retter, und auf der Lichtung herrscht wieder Frieden.

English SummaryAnimals and birds enjoy themselves in a sunny forest clearing. A wolf is hunting in the neighbouring thicket. He's tracking down a deer that's escaping to the clearing. There it is sheltered by a bear. The robber must leave without prey. Woodpecker, jays and squirrels are now constantly on the lookout. When the wolf shows up again near the clearing, the animals are drilled by the woodpecker and expect the attack together. A surprising intervention of the bear ends the life of the wolf. The animals thank their rescuer, and the clearing is at peace again.
