German SummaryCucaracha, ein junger Milizionär, trifft Inga, die Geliebte des Banditen Murtalo. Überzeugt, dass sie im Grunde ein anständiger Mensch ist, möchte sie von ihrem bisherigen Lebensweg wegzuführen. Inga beginnt, Cucarache mit anderen Augen zu sehen, auch ihre Beziehung zu Mortalo. Als der junge Milizionär den Banditen nach einem Einbruch in ein Juwiliergeschäft stellt, gibt gibt er ihm dennoch auf Ingas Bitten den Fluchtweg frei.- Eine folgenschwere Entscheidung, aber für ihn und Inga beginnt danach auch ein neues, gemeinsames Leben. Bis Murtalo zurückkehrt und sich für seine Niederlage mit dem Mord an Cucarache rächt.

English SummaryCucaracha, a young militiaman, meets Inga, the lover of the bandit Murtalo. Convinced that she is basically a decent person, she wants to lead her away from her previous life. Inga begins to see Cucarache with different eyes, including her relationship with Mortalo. When the young militiaman finds the bandit after a break-in into a juwilier shop, he still gives him the escape route at Inga's request - a momentous decision, but for him and Inga a new life together begins afterwards. Until Murtalo returns and takes revenge for his defeat with the murder of Cucarache.
